It's very frustrating to not be able to predict or control what's going to come at you. It's even more frustrating when those things are coming at your child and you can't deflect or heal. ![]()
On Monday, Jaclyn will have another Pet Scan. Please pray that the nasty, ugly PTLD stays away and that her Pet Scan is perfectly clear and extra prayers for good blood lab results are also greatly appreciated. After having some pretty good blood lab results, her lab results started to fluctuate quite a bit while recovering from her Feb 24th viral infection. Jaclyn needs some good news. She needs to be home next month for her 16th birthday and she would love to stay there for a long time!
Last weekend, Jaclyn was able to spend some time with her sister, Deziree. This week, Jaclyn's sister, Valerie, is visiting. Jaclyn's sisters are great for cheering her up.
During the months following her kidney transplant, Jaclyn's recovery was "textbook" simple. Since the EBV and PTLD appeared, she has been re-writing every textbook. Every week presents a new surprise. We don't like surprises. We want to go back to being "textbook" predictable. Prayers that Jaclyn's nightmare turns into a dream come true very soon.
Much Love & Blessing to all of you, keep those prayers and positive thoughts coming. She's feeling them and God & his Angels will help her.
Good health, happiness and much love to everyone.
Susan, mom of Jaclyn
